About This Event

Carol Morgan, current President of the Topeka Audubon Society, will share about the diversity of bird species in Kansas and Shawnee County, compare and contrast similar species, and discuss conservation needs.

The mission of the Topeka Audubon Society (TAS) is to inspire people to appreciate birds and other wildlife and to encourage conservation of natural habitats. The first Tuesday of each month the League of Women Voters hosts a presenter to discuss various civic engagement topics. Lunch can be purchased from the Millennium Cafe and brought into the meeting.
