The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center invites families to go green this Spring Break with Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang! Join us in the Maker Space for a hands-on building experience inspired by our current traveling exhibit on Tuesday, March 17, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
During this featured experience, kids can channel their inner inventor by creating one-of-a-kind St. Patrick’s Day constructions using recycled and upcycled materials. Inspired by the Peanuts characters’ love of creativity and doing good in the world, children will think like engineers and artists while exploring the value of reimagining everyday objects. Build something bold, build something green, and build something that’s all your own!
Regular admission applies, which is $11 for adults and children, $10 for seniors over 65, and free for infants under 12 months and Discovery Center members. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 30,000 square feet of indoor educational exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom.
