The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center invites families to blast off this Spring Break with Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang! Join us in the Maker Space for an out-of-this-world hands-on experience inspired by our current traveling exhibit on Thursday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
During this featured experience, guests will explore the wonders of space and our moon while designing and building their own prototype space stations, tools, and equipment that astronauts might need on a lunar mission. Inspired by the Peanuts characters and the spirit of exploration, children will engage their curiosity, critical thinking, and engineering skills as they imagine what it takes to live and work in space.
Regular admission applies, which is $11 for adults and children, $10 for seniors over 65, and free for infants under 12 months and Discovery Center members. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 30,000 square feet of indoor educational exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom.
Check out for more serious fun!
