About This Event

Our committee is sponsoring our 34th Historic Stone Fence Workshop! The Bassett Family will host this event at 13445 SW K-4 Highway, *approximately 2 miles north of Dover, on K-4 Hwy. Join us and learn how to build a stone fence just as our ancestors did 150 years ago. Our certified dry stack stone mason, Rocky Slaymaker, will be onsite to guide our volunteers as they learn to build the fence from the foundation to the coping stones on top. During this 3-day event, we will also provide lunches, snacks and drinks. If you have questions or are interested in participating in our event, you may answer on this page, on messenger or contact Marsha Ericson at 785-220-4634 (call or text). Our fee for this 3-day workshop is $125.00.
