About This Event

Healing in Color offers an intimate, thoughtfully curated exhibition showcasing artwork created through a trauma-informed jail-based arts program in Topeka, alongside a special screening of the short film Woman Rising. The evening highlights how creativity, storytelling, dignity, and voice play a vital role in healing, advocacy, public safety, and long-term community well-being.

The art on display will be curated pieces from women inside of Shawnee County Jail. Join us for an evening of insight and light refreshments. We look forward to seeing you!
