On Friday, April 10 from 6 to 9 pm, the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center is hosting an adults-only night (21+). That means 30,000 square feet of indoor play is yours. Yes, yours. Grab a drink from the cash bar, pick up dinner or snacks from the Discovery Café, and relive your most unhinged recess energy.
Paint on the windows. Dive into hands-on science exhibits. Get wild with the cardboard table saws. Build something that absolutely would not pass inspection. Climb the World’s Tallest Climbable Sunflower like you have zero emails waiting for you. Outside (if it’s not pouring down rain), challenge your friends to adult tricycle races, storm the pirate ship, or claim the treehouse as your temporary kingdom.
Plus! You’ll have access to the nationally traveling exhibit Take Care with Peanuts! Yes, that Peanuts. Step inside Snoopy’s larger-than-life doghouse, offer questionable advice at Lucy’s Psychiatric Stand, help Charlie Brown battle the Kite-Eating Tree, vibe at Schroeder’s piano, explore Linus’s blanket fort, and generally heal your inner child in the most delightful way possible with amazing photo ops along the way.

$11 tickets are required for everyone, including members, and are available at the door. Proceeds support museum access for all children, so your night out funds play for families across our community.
