Topeka Civic Theatre is holding auditions for Over the River and Through the Woods, a heartfelt comedy about family, food, and the ties that are nearly impossible to break.
About the ShowNick is a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey who spends every Sunday having dinner with both sets of his grandparents. When he’s offered his dream job in Seattle, Nick must finally tell the people he loves most that he may be leaving them behind. His grandparents don’t take the news lightly. What follows is a series of lovingly hilarious schemes, heartfelt moments, and one very strategic dinner guest, all aimed at keeping Nick right where he belongs.
Audition Information• Adult auditions with roles available for 3 men and 3 women• Performers of all experience levels are encouraged to attend• Audition times should be scheduled in advance when possible• Scripts will be available to check out at the Box Office
