About This Event
We are excited to announce that the 2026 Kansas Day of Percussion will take place on April 18th, 2026, with Washburn University being our gracious host!
This year we will feature the Britain/Moore Percussion Duo, David Yoon (Kansas City Symphony), Steve Hatfield (Wichita State University), and Eric Sheffler (Sky Riders Drum and Bugle Corps).
Collegiate Showcase Performances:– Washburn University– Butler Community College
High School Showcase Performance:– Washburn Rural High School
There will also be a solo competition for collegiate and high school students at the following levels:– Keyboard Percussion– Snare Drum
