National Learn to Row Day 2026

Join us for National Learn to Row Day on Saturday June 6th! You will have the opportunity to:* Tour our Boathouse at Lake Shawnee* Learn to properly use an erg (ergometer, indoor rowing machine)*View a rowing shell* Learn the parts of a boat and safety terminologyAnd… Assuming the weather cooperates, you may have the opportunity to get in a boat (along with a few experienced rowers). In addition to weather considerations, participation in this activity may be limited by the availability of sufficient equipment and personnel, so sign up today and secure your spot!
