About This Event

FROM THE AUTHOR OF “A LEG TO STAND ON” COMES A POWERFUL STORY OF COURAGE AND UNCONDITIONAL FRIENDSHIP“It’s Adoption Day. You said if my grades were good—”Ellen Hanson knew where her teenage daughter was going with this and silently scolded herself for waggling that carrot in front of Emily after her less-than-stellar fall semester at Manhattan <a href="http://High.To” target=”_blank” title=”High.To”>High.To her credit, Emily had knuckled down in the spring and finished with a 3.2 GPA. Emily knew she had won. Today, they would be coming home with a dog. And not just any <a href="http://dog.Her” target=”_blank” title=”dog.Her”>dog.Her <a href="http://dog.What” target=”_blank” title=”dog.What”>dog.What she didn’t know is that Gretchen would soon weave her way into the fabric of Emily’s life. As that tapestry begins to unravel, Emily finds extraordinary courage from the love of her mother, her best friend, an unexpected stranger……And the unconditional love of rescue dog named <a href="http://Gretchen.Emotional” target=”_blank” title=”Gretchen.Emotional”>Gretchen.Emotional, reflective, and deeply personal, You’re With Me delves deeply into the human-animal bond. It is a tribute to friendship, loyalty, and the enduring comfort of knowing that the ones who touched our hearts are never truly <a href="http://gone.They” target=”_blank” title=”gone.They”>gone.They are always with <a href="http://us.” target=”_blank” title=”us.“>us.
