About This Event

In celebration of Juneteenth and honoring the cultural resiliency of African and Native culture; the LRM Foundation Theatre is proud to present an original Documentary film that highlights local African American and Native American community members and their arrival to Douglas County, Kansas.
Join us at the Lied Center to hear the untold stories of family lineage and heritage that helped enrich the Douglas County community.
We will also celebrate the culture ofdance with live performances by the Esoke West African Dance group and Lead Horse Powwow Dancers.
This event is free and open to the public!
