What began as an ordinary day in a small, close-knit town quickly transformed into an international sleepover when 38 planes carrying thousands of passengers from around the world were unexpectedly diverted to Gander’s tiny airstrip. With limited resources but unlimited generosity, the people of Gander opened their homes, hearts, and community to complete strangers.
Through music, humor, and deeply moving moments, Come From Away celebrates kindness in the face of uncertainty, the power of human connection, and the reminder that even in the darkest moments, compassion can light the way.
