Through themes of love, grief, longing, healing, and self-discovery, Polanco’s work explores what it means to survive heartbreak and emerge transformed. The reading will feature selections from the collection, insights into the creative process, and an opportunity for audience questions and discussion.
Whether you are a poetry enthusiast, a fellow creative, or simply someone who has loved, lost, and found your way forward, this event offers a space for connection through the shared language of human experience.
Doors open at 6:30p and the event will begin at 7p with a reading followed by discussion and a Q&A with the author. Books will be available for purchase/signing.
Pain is evidence of living. Vulnerability is strength. Through poetry, what was once hidden becomes illuminated. All are welcome.
