Joylight began in Topeka, Kansas in 2022, when Jack started roasting coffee in his basement late into the midnight hours—from the start it was a side hustle fueled by curiosity, passion, and a love for sharing good things with others. What started as a simple idea has grown into a full-time craft and calling. Today, Joylight exists to bring that same joy to others through freshly roasted, thoughtfully sourced coffee. In the same way coffee fuels our passion to roast you delicious, unique coffee offerings, we hope it energizes you to do what you enjoy with those you love.
