Don’t miss your ONLY chance to walk through the lights at TARC’s Winter Wonderland! Winter Wonderland Walk Through Night has become a Topeka tradition and is one of our favorite ways to kick off the Winter Wonderland Season.
Join us for this year’s Walk through Night on Friday, November 22 from 6 to 8 pm at Lake Shawnee Campground. Suggested donation of $2 per person OR $1 per person with canned good items for our friends, Project Topeka!
Parking is available at the Bettis Family Sports Complex. We will have multiple shuttles provided by Cortez Transportation Company and they will pick up from Bettis Family Sports Complex Parking Lot only. You may walk down to the campground, but keep in mind the walk is about one mile. Accessible parking IS available across from the campground.
Walk Through Night is a family friendly event and dogs ARE welcome, however you must clean up after your dogs and be mindful there is typically a large crowd. If your dog doesn’t do well in large crowds this may not be a good event for them to attend.
Please be mindful of our displays there is a lot of guy-wire and stakes holding them up. We ask that you do not climb in the displays and watch where you’re walking, it is best to stay on the paved path for everyone’s safety. Do not climb in or around the displays.
As our event continues to grow, we’re working to best serve everyone and keep all of our walkers safe. We are so grateful for the community’s continued support of TARC and our Walk Through Night!
