Event Details


Our 7th annual event. Meet authors, connect over books, create a craft, listen to author readings, add signed books to your collection and buy fantastic gifts. More than 40 authors of kids, fiction and nonfiction books will be in Marvin Auditorium. Meet representatives from publishers, literary magazines, and writing groups, too, including Kansas Authors Club, Kansas Book Festival, Meadowlark Books, Sunflower Sutras, Flint Hills Publishing, P3: Poetry for Personal Power, and more.

12:00 pm: Huascar Medina, Poet Laureate of Kansas
How to Hang the Moon. Hear more about Huascar’s work as Poet Laureate for Humanities Kansas.

12:30 pm: Matt Spezia/Poetry for Personal Power
Hear a poem or two from National Champion slam poet Spezia, and hear about how P3 is helping artists in Kansas to reach their goals.
