Sunday, October 10, 2010, marks the day when entertainment venues all across the country will be joining together in a show of solidarity for our war Heroes, as America’s Heart Vet-Aide, rocks the nation!

The goal: to raise funds for returning veterans in transition, and with four of the cities most prominent music venues (or at least they will be when the day is over) joining up, it also promises to be a great day of musical camaraderie across Topeka as well.

Johnny Poblano’sJoletta’s, The Boobie Trap and The Kansan Grill will be representing the Topeka segment of America’s Heart Vet-Aide.

In addition to a great cause of supporting our country’s heroes, two band battles will be taking place.

  1. Johnny Poblano’s will host the cover band battle of the day
  2. Boobie Trap is covering the original band battle

Come out to either one of these locations to cheer on and vote for your favorites.

With just about every genre of music represented you really don’t have a reason to miss out on being a part of a great cause. As of this writing, the state has seven events going on Sunday.

Les Roediger, organizer of the Kansas events asserts, the state, “is taking a spotlight here. Hardly any of the other states even have four events total; we have that many in Topeka! Let’s show the world that KANSAS CARES!”

Don’t miss out on being a part of history, attend a venue of your choice this coming Sunday! America’ Heart Vet Aide, October 10, 2010.
