Topeka Bar Wars, sponsored by seveneightfive magazine, was started in 2008. Bar Wars is a local competition that takes bar employees and their regulars and has them compete as a team against other bars in a variety of events and games that you would regularly find at a bar.

Money raised is donated to a local charity of the winning bars choosing.

A live auction will be held on March 10 at Shawnee Country Club at 6 p.m. Here, owners will bid on hosting events at their establishments.  This auction will also finalize the schedule of events which take place from April 6 – the first week in May.
