Randy Cohen: Americans for the Arts

Randy Cohen is Vice President of Local Arts Advancement at Americans for the Arts, the nation’s advocacy organization for the arts. Randy is charged with ensuring that every community and arts organization is served by a local arts agency- and that every community in America is an environment where the arts can thrive.

Guest Speaker:

Jason Gage: Salina, KS City Manager

Jason will share the secrets for the success of this vibrant Kansas town that won the 2009 Arts Community Governor’s Arts Award, and was recently named “Best Kansas Town to Raise Kids” by Business Week magazine. Through coordinated effort and dedication to a cultural vision, the climate of support for the arts in the community reaches beyond city and cultural organizations and is truly integrated into the civic landscape of Salina.
