Thank you for taking the time to make your dream a reality. Not only are you preserving the artistic details of a wonderful solid historic structure -in restoring the Thatcher Building, but you are protecting this historic and elegant work of art from becoming a neglected eyesore or a senseless pile of rubbish. My thesis for the Master's of Architecture degree studied "Historic Preservation and Development Decisions" of 'Seven Cities in Four Nations'. Again and again the alleged argument of least cost felled many an elegant and irreplacable historic structure in the United States and around the world. The most important reward of sustainable and cultural architecture is its focus on an intimate association with human scale. Thank you Greg Ready, Jeff & Linda Carson and associates for providing a unique opportunity to evolve a creative community of commerce and the arts within historic downtown Topeka. We look forward to enjoying the fruits of your labor.

One of my dreams is a bus service from historic downtown Topeka to and from Johnson County several times a day which will coordinate with the KC-Connector in Lawrence... and the KC Metro. Another great tourism goal is to develop a unique pathway of historic exhibits from the Brown versus Board of Education historic site to the Kansas State Capital Building... And, some of you are aware of my work to bring 1,000 MWp BI-PV Solar Architecture to Kansas... www.Bi-PVSolarArchitecture.com
